Hi, I'm Laura
___________
I am a UX researcher who loves learning about people and why they think the way they do.
I strive to make a social impact with my work. (Check out my work with non-profits and government clients to see it all in action below!)
About me
___________
I recently graduated with my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University.
At CMU, I applied my UX research skills to emerging technology projects, such as using an AI agent to help radiologists in breast cancer screening [research study link] and an LLM chatbot that repackages data-dense information for different types of learners.
I previously worked as a UX researcher at Anthro-Tech, a human-centered design consultancy, where my research informed the design of government programs, services, and websites that impacted millions of citizens in Washington state and Oregon.
